Health & Life Specialist

St. Paul, Minnesota

Sales / Full-time / Salary, plus Commission & Bonus / Will Train Applicants / Travel is Required (70%)

Role & Responsibilities:

Primarily role is to team with current P&C Agents in our agency and build a book of business by cross selling Health and Life products to current insureds. 

  • Present and sell Individual, Medicare and Small Group Health insurance as well as Life and Annuity insurance to new and existing clients
  • Forge strong working relationships with current P&C Agency force
  • Develop cross selling strategies with our P&C Agents to capitalize on our 20,000 client relationships
  • Present Medicare meetings in Agent communities
  • Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients’ needs
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints
  • Expand business reach through networking techniques
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations
  • Track and identify areas of improvement
  • Potential to lead to management role

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous Health and/or Life insurance experience
  • Life & Health Licensed
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Successful track record of sales and account management
  • Bring high energy level and outstanding communication skills

Charismatic, ability to quickly relate and build strong relationships with Agency force, conflict resolution, energetic, outgoing, great attitude, teach, train and coach, a service to others approach.
